With my number 1, Master Teague committing to OSU, 2day and new developments happening all the time. I plan on doing an update after Orange Carpet Day. Hopefully, UT will get a couple of commits that weekend. I don't know if anybody cares, but I enjoy it. So, check it out or don't, around a week from today

4. Jordan Davis, DE. Current Alabama commit. In-state kid, if we can flip, would make the Big 3 into the Big 4.

7. Cameron McGrone, LB. Most complete LB on our board. Goes to the same HS as DKjr went to in Indianapolis. This is the biggest longshot, imo. He loves Notre Dame

8. Jerome Carvin, OL. Another in-state kid that everybody wants and Bama may be our biggest competition for him

9. P.J. Mustipher, DT. U can never have too many stud DTs, imo. Out of Maryland

10. Jaycee Horn, CB. Son of former Saints WR Joe Horn. Best CB on our board. A lot of competition for this kid out of Georgia

11. Cam Jones, Ath. In-state kid, that UT wants as a LB. Former Indiana commit who is blowing up lately. Imo, our next commit

12. Azeez Ojular, DE. A relentless, pass rusher with a mean streak, out of Georgia

14. James Mitchell, TE. The best TE on our board and one of the best in the country, imo. More ready for the SEC, than Warren is right now. Pretty sure, he is from Virginia

15. Jemaurian Jones, CB. I love big CBs and this kid is 6'1. Pair him with J. Reed and we would have 2 Mississippi CBs

17. Michael Barrett, DT/QB. But, UT wants him as a RB. Another kid, Gillespie says could fill Kamara's role in the offense.

20. Elijah Moore, WR. Elite athlete from Florida. Personal favorite, but probably the 2nd biggest longshot on this list.

Just as a bit of an update, I went ahead and removed all of the guys who have committed since this thread was originally posted (though I left Davis because there seems to be a sliver of a hope there and I'm a dreamer).

Thanks DS. I agree, I still want J Davis and I am a dreamer, too. I have to do a little research, but I will get it up(yea,I know that's a lob over the plate for jokes), sometime tomorrow.

I believe the Moore kid was one of the best WRs at the opening along with Pope. I'm not as familiar with some of the guys Tennessee isn't in on.

I would remove Jordan Davis from consideration seeing as how Devinner is involved there now.

Ok, I narrowed the list down to about 40 recruits. But, I haven't watched almost all of their highlights like I had on the original list. So, in other words, the update won't be ready tonight, but it will definitely be done this weekend. I'm sure most of u guys could give a flying eff, but it is the off season, so u are getting it anyway

This is great and very helpful to those of us who loosely follow recruiting. Could you perhaps include the chances in your opinion (%) each ends up a Vol? Thanks.

Thanks Oh-Vol. Yes, I will add the %, imo, of the chance they will be a Vol. Good idea

Updated Top 20 Recruiting Wish List

This list will not include anybody already committed to UT.

1. Jordan Davis, DE. Yes, he is still committed to Alabama but he is a Tennessee kid. He would complete the Big 4, along with Emerson, Lawless and Litaker. Plus, UT needs a big time, high school(Gerald is a JUCO) DE and this is the kid I want. 40% chance UT gets him.

2. Azeez Ojular, DE. Potential 5 star DE out of Georgia. Quick, strong and as 247 says on a different level than most DEs at The Opening. 20% chance UT gets him.

3. Jaycee Horn, CB. Another position of need. The best CB, UT has a chance at right now. Good friends with UT commit Jatavious Harris and apparently their Moms have become friends, too. 70% chance UT gets this CB from Georgia

4. Jerome Carvin, OL. Potential OT out of metro Memphis, TN. Get this kid paired up with Cade Mayes and UT could be set on the OL for the next 4 years. 75% chance UT gets him, watch out for Bama

5. Cam Jones, Ath. UT wants him at LB and I think he will be in the mode of Chavis' LBs fast and explosive. Good friends with Carvin and is another Tennessee kid. 90% chance UT gets him

6. Richard Jibunor, Ath. Personal favorite of mine. Fast and physical, plays LB and WR in high school in Georgia. 6'4, 205 pounds. I want him as a pass rushing OLB, UT thinks he will end up as a DE. Right now between Auburn and UT. 40% chance UT gets him.

7. James Mitchell, TE. Athletic TE out of Virginia. Another position of need. Looks like a battle between UT and Virginia Tech. 60% chance UT gets him.

8. Shocky Jacques-Louis, WR. Super fast and athletic. On his highlights, he took about 5 screen passes 50+ yards for TDs, in metro Miami, so the comp was good. 6'1 and exciting. 95% chance UT gets him.

9. PJ Mustifer, DT. Big, strong DT out of Maryland. If UT is able to add this kid with the DL commits they already have ..... UT could potentially have the greatest DL recruiting class in their history. On par with Bama, aspecially if they could add either Davis or Ojular, too. Looks like it's between Penn St. and UT. 50% chance UT gets him.

10. Tommy Bush, WR. 6'5 with legit 4.4 speed. The kid I want more than anybody. He is out of Texas and has visited UT. UT should get an official visit during a game this fall. But, realistically I doubt UT has much of a chance, 10% at best

Ok, 11-20, will be up sometime later today.

Thanks Dog. . I agree with your wishes. I am not as optimistic about Davis, Horn or Jibunor . I'd say 10% Davis,, 40% Horn and 10% Jibunor.

I am an eternal optimist when it comes to all things Vols related, but u are probably right about Jibunor and Davis. But, I think UT ends up getting Horn. He definitely has reconsidered his options, because he changed his commit date and added UT to his final 2, making it a final 3 with SC and Bama. Plus, Horn is coming back to visit UT on July 20th.

Almost no chance of Jordan Davis whatsoever. Carvin is close to 50/50 with us and Bama but I think if we land Cam that could push us over the top. I'm actually pretty optimistic on the DT from Maryland, if he makes it down here for that visit I think we land him.

Btw, I was asked to make a percentage prediction on every recruit on my wish list. So, I did. It's just an educated guess based on what I have read or heard on TV or the radio. I have no inside info or know anybody that does. So if I am wrong and I will be, please understand these percentages are just my opinions. Plus, I am a Tennessee Vol fan, so even tho I try to be impartial, my percentages may lean a little high in UTs favor.

11-15

11. Adam Anderson, OLB. Number 1 OLB on a couple of recruiting services. 6'5 beast out of Rome, Georgia. Teammate with current UT, DL commit, Chatman. UT is in his final 5, hoping Chatman helps pull him, but I doubt it. 15% chance UT gets him.

12. Kevin Austin, WR. Another personal favorite of mine. 6'3, fast and physical out of south Florida. My favorite highlight of Austin, he high points a 50/50 ball around the goal line, catches it and stiff arms the defender to the ground as he scores a TD. UT is in his final 3 or 4, with Duke and the favorite Notre Dame. 20% chance UT gets him.

13. Jeshaun Jones, WR. Very similar to Shocky. 6'1 out of Florida. Lot of people think whoever commits 1st between him and Shocky, we take and the other one needs to look around. I prefer Shocky, but still Jones seems to love UT. 50% chance UT gets him, unless Shocky commits, then 5% chance

14. Tommy Tremble, TE. Son of a former Georgia safety. Very fast, looks like a WR with TE size. I thought Georgia would be the favorite, because he is a legacy but last I heard Notre Dame was. He does have UT in his final 5 or 6 and has visited a couple of times. 20% chance UT gets him

15. Daniel Faalele, OT. 6'8, 390 pound monster. Plays for football powerhouse IMG in Florida. Kind of a project, but with his size and athleticism, well worth it, imo. Loves UT and if he is a take, I think we get him. 90% chance we get him if we want him.

16-20, tomorrow

Looks good. I'd put Mitchell (TE) down to 20% now since he's not visiting
