The Dog's Top 10 Recruiting Wish List

1. Walker
2. JJ
3. OG
4. ITS
5. Miller
6. Smith
7. Young
8. Harrison
9. Wonnum
10. Playmaker

Yeah, the '17 Vols needed #10 desperately. Occasionally, Kelly and Callaway seemed like they could be Johnny Playmaker, but not enough to win more than 4 games. Hope UT gets him this year. Hoping Young can be him or even Chandler can be the next best thing after a year of SEC football

Beal
Langham

If we could finish with those 10 that would be okay with me.

How many spots do we have? I've seen anywhere from 21 to 23. If we can take 21 that leaves us with 7 spots. This is how I see it.

Young
JJ
Quay
Smith
Grant or Hall
Griffin or ITS
Flemister

With less than 2 weeks to go, I'm thinking UT gets Peterson, Young, Grant, Walker, Copeland, Smith and either ITS or Griffin. Yeah, I know, probably way too optimistic

that sounds reasonable. we might have room for one more and that would be DL. thinking Ogbonnia there or similar body type.

UT wraps up '18 with:

Otito
Young, eff FSU
Copeland
ITS
Grant
Peterson
Quay Walker
Davis
Flowers
and Emmit Gooden. Pruitt gets him eligible, just like he did in his Bama days

No Beal? I thought we were in good shape with him.

These are my opinions and kind of realistic hopes. I want Beal and would be ecstatic if UT signs him, not exactly sure how many UT signs.

Man, if u had told me, UT would get only one of my top 10, I would have said, "pass that blunt/joint, my way". ITS could make it 2 out of 10, but from what I'm hearing, he is a Trojan

10. JohnCarlo Valentin, OG. Juco that is committed to Baylor that I think UT can flip. Valentin could shore up the OL and maybe start. Originally from PA. and friends with current UT commit, another Juco from PA., Johnson

9. Warren J. Thompson, WR. I love big and fast WRs. This 6'4 Fla. WR would be just what UT needs right now.

8. Jordan Young, WR. Another big, 6'3 and fast, GA. state 110 hurdles champ. Sleeper that is blowing up, love him, baller that high points the ball and uses his size. Plus he can fly, runs like a gazelle, somebody said in his thread. My new favorite WR in this class and I think UT gets him, if he commits tomorrow, like I read he would.

7. Malik Langham, DE. Alabama may be pushing hard for him after slow playing him. But he is a Game kid and that scares me. I think he would be a beast as 3-4 DE and so does Savannah

6. Eddie Smith, CB. Tall, 6'1, long armed La. athlete that seems like the kind of CB, Pruitt loves.

5. Coynis Miller, DL. Probably the NG UT needs for the 3-4. Another beast from Alabama, that UT has to beat Auburn to get him on the hill.

4. Isiah Taylor-Stuart. Another tall and long CB, this one from San Diego. Could start from day one.

3. Oliajah Griffin, CB. Another tall and long, Cali CB. Day one starter and the only reason I ranked him ahead of Stuart, is because he is Warren G's son.

2. Quay Walker, LB. 5-star prototypical NFL LB out of Ga.

1. JJ Peterson, LB. Another Ga, LB that has NFL written all over him. Committed to UT, right now. I think we need to hold on him to make a statement and it will lead to more commits like Quay.

We’ll get 4 of them for sure . Not quite confident on the others rn .

See this is why we should stop trashing Hubbs. He's a realist and he's conservative. Listening to him will set you up for much less disappointment. It just won't be as fun along the way. For all those who have claimed he has no knowledge or access, a day like this should be taken as a lesson.
