The Dooley Curse - Thank God It's Over

it is NOT exclusively the Dooley curse. Kiffin was part of it too -- in fact if anything it should be called

Hamilton's Curse

Kiffin beat the hell out of Georgia and South Carolina his first year. He then took it to the wire with Bama his first year when they went on to win the NC, it is ABSOLUTELY the Dooley curse. Kiffins downfall was bad karma for stabbing this university in the back.

North is already showing that he will be a force! I bet Bammers are a little more worried now about next week

UA Worried? With their team? Doubtful! Unfortunately, the result probably won't be pretty. Hopefully, they can be kept under or near 40 pts.

Exactly! Football is king, but Hamilton distributed his coaches selection incompetence throughout the entire athletic department and for the entire time he was AD.

a LOCAL sports show on TV had info that Dooley was the main reason Palardy had trouble the last 2 years in that Dooley did everything wrong to help his confidence. Dooley may have been the worst coach ever and his hiring is the reason it has taken so long to recover. Dooley equals loser.

Not here to defend Hammy by any stretch... but he did hire Bruce Pearl. And Bruce was a huge success. His downfall was his own doing, not Hammy's.

Yes, it was, but MH was AD and compliance with NCAA regulations was under his umbrella. He was apparently too detached and aloof to be concerned with compliance (at least in BP's case), and BP took what liberties he thought he could get away with because of that aloofness.
