Up an impressive amount right now. Will there be profit taking tomorrow? Is this the beginning of a sustained bounce back to, say, 11,000-plus, minimum?

It should be an interesting day given the fact that the Europeans are going to put in 2.3 trillion bucks to save their own banks. That's got to have an impact on our stock market here.

i'm sure we'll see some sort of sell off tomorrow. too many people who want to sell into the rallys.

I agree to a point, but I think a lot of weak hands have been shaken out of the market already. FUT. up 183.

Folks made some good money today.

Not me...because the cash I tried to transfer from my Schwab checking to my Schwab investing account over the weekend wouldn't allow me to do it any sooner than Tuesday. I'm feeling like an idiot right now, but after several attempts the system refused to let me do it any sooner.....missed out on a heck of a day for sure....

Man TT that sucks man. Hang in there man, there's always a way to make $$$ going up or down.

For sure...maybe I'll figure it out enough some day to actually capitalize on that! I'll have to start with first mastering the art of moving money from one account to another in a timely fashion

It will be up for the week, but down tomorrow. There were some stock bargains Friday, I'm kicking myself for not grabbing a couple.

buy, buy, buy

I bought some index funds late yesterday afternoon...I don't have the time right now to follow individual funds let alone stocks...so I'll just tack my gains and losses to the market's. It's probably going to be extremely volatile for the next year or more anyway...hopefully I'm buying in low - but I have a feeling that it will be a while before sustained gains are made. I had a bunch of cash stored away that had built up over the last year or two...finally let it ride.

What took you so long? I think things will settle down after the election, hang in there. This is a great market to play in right now if you buy and sell on the ups and downs, but you have to have the time to do that and plenty of beer. :)

I've got the beer...but not so much the time....which may be due to the beer :ermm:

As for taking so long..I apparently don't understand what it takes to move money and place orders within online investment arms. I have generally just had money automatically invested...but I had a hard time moving the money and buying in a timely manner...it actually paid off in a way because it got me in after the big drop this week...though I had originally tried to get in before the jump on Monday.
