Please say a prayer for our 1 year old son Parker. Day 5 of very high fevers (104+) and at the ER again for the 2nd time in 3 days. Doing CBC test, catheter to rule out UTI and some different viral panel swabs. There is nothing worse in this world than seeing your little man in pain.View attachment 552671View attachment 552671View attachment 552672

no worse feeling in the world than your child suffering and you can’t help. Prayers for a speedy recovery……please keep us updated

Freddie will be a first ballot HOF. Just wish he could have been a Brave his entire career.
Wish he had been a Brave the whole way. Great, great player and a pretty great human, too. I sat along the first base line the whole weekend and it was fun to watch his interactions with the Cardinal players on first base. DeJong got hit on the elbow and when he got to the bag, Freddie massaged his elbow for 10-15 seconds. He’s a terrific guy.

numerous updates or additions to homes on left in first 7 blocks, including what appeared to be new home across from corner of
alta vista, very little changed to homes on sidewalk side

gardens visible at old dempster home as you drive uphill toward southgate,

at least half dozen homes remodeled between 700s toward 1100s,

could barely recognize grandparents' home and there was a new entrance to our home, which was remodeled and expanded after dad moved out around 2010

we turned around in 1200s as we were running late for destinaion
wish we could have stopped and spent more time

also, you can now see several homes on pike as you turn into scenic while driving east
Yes, that’s a new home across from Alta Vista. Near the intersection of Scenic and Southgate one home is undergoing so many renovations I wonder how much of the original house will remain. Where did your grandparents and father live?

Had a really great time at the Dodgers-Cardinals games over the weekend. The spouse surprised me with some special tickets located next to the dugout for Saturday’s game. I had a view into the dugout the whole game, which was cool. Also got to go onto the field before the game and hang out in the dugout for 15 minutes or so.

Now, it’s time to get after these other SEC teams this week. Man, I love me some baseball.

Very cool. Where can I get that.
There’s a retail store in Ballpark Village St. Louis that goes by the name of Baseballism. They can be ordered online and have some of the coolest baseball clothing I’ve ever seen. I got me a few this weekend, but have also ordered online. Nice quality but not super high prices. It’s my “go to” store for baseball clothing.

Update on Parker - no UTI, no upper respiratory virus, white blood cell and platelet counts look pretty good. No fever today so far (praise God) but still low on energy. They think it’s something just nasty viral. But we are awaiting results on some cultures and a couple other things. Thank you guys for continuing to pray. Keep ‘em coming. Let’s go get a run-rule today!
