Nolan Ryan on question 1.

RIP ..... Pat Roberston.

Wow .... in the politics forum .... a lot of mean & ugly things have been spoken & tweeted about Pat Roberston. Some people hoping he rots in hell for his past comments made in times past. There are some really sick people (mentally) in this world that live only in hate for others that just happen to disagree with your politics of the world..

Keep working with him and one day you can get us all family tickets to Vol baseball games!
Funny story...
When my daughter was young(6-7?) I helped coach her coed Tee ball team. There was a brother and sister and the brother was much younger and would only play on big sisters team. His sister said he didn’t hit off a tee so I pitched underhanded to this little guy. Sister told me to pitch overhanded and a little faster. This little dude was hitting line drive shots and could field like no other, all the while I’m giving him pointers. After practice, someone points out to me that he is Aaron Small’s son, who just happens to be pitching for the New York Yankees!!
Next practice, I told him not to listen to anything I tried to teach the other kids, only do what his dad tells him to do!😁
His dad never once made a scene, corrected any coaching or tried to interfere one time and turned out to be one of the best, most sincere, nicest men I’ve ever met and 17 years later, he may be giving my 10 yr old pitching lessons soon.😎

1 Koufax
2 The Big Unit
3 Phil Niekro

1 and 2 are guesses but I feel confident with Niekro.

Screw em

You guys don’t even know how happy I am. A fellow Volnation member just hooked me up with a ticket for each game this weekend in Harrisburg. I had given up hopes of getting anything due to the absurdity of ticket prices and they just transferred them over to me with a text to the accord of “sent you tickets.” I’m going to make sure it’s cool to give them a shout out before I post their handle, but my gosh talk about good people left in the world. It’s been such a crap year here with the flood and house issues (still fighting with repairs) this has made my year !!! 🥹

Boooom! I still have faith in humanity, maybe I’m just naive or maybe I’m just dumb, but I still have faith and always try to find good in people, give people the benefit of a doubt and have compassion. @Volstylexx i hope you have the time of your life bud and know you will represent us well!!
GBO!!

That is awesome! Hope you have a blast and enjoy a 2-0 demolition by the BaseVols. And yes, this postseason has clearly shown that there are some very generous people on volnation!!!
