Yep, that would be the other one that could come to mind. They changed their name to the Red Storm back in the mid-90s. I was actually a student at another Big East school (at the time, BC), when they changed it.

Nope, I’m sure someone from LSU has reached out to him but he became his dominant self again in the 2nd half of the season. If he leads Tennessee to another CWS it would do more for him moving up in the draft than getting a stacked LSU team there anyways.

2 runs come home to score. 3-0 Braves. Ozuna w/a 2 run bomb blast makes it 5-0 Braves.

The one thing that separates them is that, to my knowledge, the Astros were the first World Series champs to be caught cheating since the 1919 Chicago Black Sox. Manfred also refused to the take away the trophy since he refers to it as “just piece of metal”. He is the worst commissioner in sports. The thing that’s so disheartening is that Astros team was good enough to win without cheating. That team was stacked up and down the roster. I think that’s what pisses me off so much about the whole situation. You are good enough to win without the cheating so why even do it? You are that insecure about your abilities? Yeah the Yankees and Red Sox should have been punished too but they didn’t win the World Series whenever they were doing it.

I agree. That was the most disheartening thing as an Astros fan was the Why? My opinion, that’s why Hinch and Luhnow got raked.
