Unfortunately we will be saying that a lot with Snitker managing the team. 2021 was clearly a fluke. There were a lot of things that drove that team and Snitker wasn’t one of them. You had Atlanta about to honor Hank Aaron for the all star game and then it got taken away. Acuña got injured two days before the all star game. Every single trade acquisition came in and took over. You had Freddie’s impending free agency and the team wanting to win for him. Snitker didn’t do anything, he’s just been riding the players’ coattails.

This will be the norm. Great regular season because of great players and horrible postseason because the manager makes little league mistakes. The guy has been coaching since 1985 and he acts like he doesn’t know the little things are what win you ballgames in the postseason. Don’t switch your record-setting offense in the first game of the playoffs and don’t start rookie pitchers with zero postseason experience in Philadelphia. It’s pretty simple.

Just like Mookie and Freddie got them blame for Dodgers offense in their series...Acuna and Olson went on Vacation as well in playoffs...their numbers combined couldn't have been much better...as the late Kobe Bean Bryant stated MVP's are seasonal awards..but real ones show out in playoffs!!!!
