I agree, I was leaning Miami but I remembered a comment that the professor made on a previous power ranking I posted so that’s why I went Lions.

Honestly it’s fun having a team that is playing well, and being able to back it up with statistics and facts. This is all new to me and I’ve been a Lions fan all my life. Hell, I didn’t even know what a power ranking was until just a few weeks ago.

Lions lost at home to Seattle with damn Geno Smith at QB ..just as bad a loss as Eagles or 49ers .... Dolphins loss is understandable vs Bills in Buffalo...

Ravens are a 3 point favorite over the Lions at home this week which means Vegas thinks it is a pick ‘em game. The Ravens have been better than the Bengals so far. Might not be the case whenever Joe Burrow is healthy but I think it would be roughly the same if the Lions and Bengals played right now. On a neutral field I would think the Lions would be favored by at least -0.5

It's sort of Anti-American to say but MMA is doing better than boxing because of the strong handed management by UFC, Bellator and Pride. Boxing - for 50 years was run by the idiots for the sake of the idiot.

Too many guys getting hosed. Too many organized crime ties. Too many bad decisions (even at the amateur level)

I wonder if UFC or a similar competitor would consider starting a boxing-only division and putting a merciful end to the alphabet organizations and promoters that have killed the sport?
