My daughter’s boyfriend had a talk with me last night that he is gonna propose in December.
He is a Tulane grad, give me some tips and pointers about rooting for Tulane, what do the fans say to each other etc.
Thanks.
Yeah, Missouri is loaded up with good football players this year. Ranked #9 so far.
Thank you so much.Congratulations!
I guess the big one is “roll Wave!” When I was in school there, I don’t think the football team won more than two or three games a year. They played in the Superdome (way off campus), and the crowds were awful. No school spirit. Basketball, however, was great. Played in the size of a high school gym. Denny Crum said it was the most hostile environment he coached in. But no real cheers that I recall.
If you want to give him a taste of New Orleans in general, I suggest something from Perlis (clothing, including these ties) or maybe one of these cookbooks. The tie on the left is Mardi Gras colors, the one on the right are the street tiles (street signs that are in the sidewalks in the older areas). The street tiles tie comes in different colors. Perlis has a crawfish logo, so they also have clothes with that logo on it.
Commander’s is the best restaurant in a city of great restaurants. Not all of the recipes are difficult. Emeril got his start at Commander’s.
What was your question again?

Thank youBTW, congrats on the (looming) proposal! But, I can’t help but say that you should’ve told him he can only propose if the lions win the Super Bowl, and then see what his response!
Altho this may be the guy you said doesn’t really likes sports, so maybe he wouldn’t fully appreciate the comment.
