We sure are lucky to have a guy like Dalton Knecht. Dude is a straight baller. I haven’t felt this confident about a player being able to go out and get 20 points on any opponent any given night since that Grant Williams team. We’ve been missing a player like this ever since that team and it is really fun to watch again.
I would place Acuña just ahead of Betts because of the value he provides on the base paths. That’s what separates him from the other top players. The only reason I place Ohtani at the top is due to him being a great pitcher also, but if you take the pitching aspect away from him all bets are off and Acuña is the best in the game. Name another guy that can go out and hit 40 bombs and steal 70 bases. He is in scoring position at any point in time.Top 3 for sure, him, Ohtani and Betts...
