Yep. Not trying to be mysterious. The owners of the tree nursery through the pines in the pic are cutting and chipping, so there has been a pretty late shift in the deer patterns around the pond.

I don’t have to get out til daybreak because nothing moves until 8:00-8:30.

I dropped the boy off to hike to a stand. The sunrise was a gorgeous blend of reds and oranges. I threw my phone out the window to take a blind photo. I must have hit a filter option, because what you see is what I got.

I thought the pic was pretty cool, and it is always fun to watch my boy head off to do what he loves.

He’s been hunting with me for years, but I’ve always used a processor. This year, he wants to learn how to skin a deer and butcher his own meat. So, after the next successful hunt, we’ve got some work to do. 😁

Next year, he will have his license. I hope he will still want to hang out with his old man.

I thought it was a great beautiful photo. That is super cool wanting to butcher his own meat. Sounds like you will be enjoying some deer jerky in your need future.

Make great memories. My son still likes to hunt with his old man. He's 24 now. The time you spend teaching him will come back to you 10 fold.

Would be nice if the Titans would stop trying so hard. One of the reasons why I like Vrabel is because his team never quits but I’m sure management would love to see some more losses. We are going to go from contending for a top 5 pick to being in that top 15 range now 🙄
