You can’t have it both ways Cobb. On one hand you were justified in criticizing the state of college football. But on the other hand expect these players to get excited about a meaningless broken system.

I think Hyatt and Tillman were on the sidelines last year at the Orange Bowl. I think Joe said he would be with the team the entire week.

Then why not play? It’s not like he’s a top 10 pick, or even a 1st rounder. This is why I get aggravated @MAD , maybe if the players acted like they cared about a meaningless bowl, I’d act like I care about a meaningless bowl. There is NO way I could put in the work that these guys have(allegedly) and not finish this thing out!
If I was a projected high draft pick, it get it, but guys like Joe Milton...

It’s pretty sad that a true freshman knows how to read a defense better than a guy that has been playing college ball for 6 years. Nothing personal against Joe, he showed great leadership not pouting whenever Hooker took his job and didn’t transfer, but anyone that knows a lick about football can already see Nico is an exceptional player.

My gripe about Joe is he held the ball too long & (not) always but at times (too many) over threw his target.

I’m not saying I agree with it but it’s the world we live in now unfortunately. Even if I were the projected #1 pick I would play in the bowl because you will never get to play with those guys ever again. A lot of times these kids aren’t even the ones making the decisions. The agents run everything now. It’s sad to see because sports are about competing and whenever you decide to opt out you are essentially saying you don’t like to compete. Everyone is so consumed with getting the bag but whenever it’s all said and done and they are retired from the game they will be wishing they can play one last time. Well, this is one less game you get to play and at some point you will be regretting you skipped it.
