Kirby is smart, no pun intended. He knew this game was going to be a show with all the kids opting out. FSU was essentially playing backups, 3rd stringers and walk ons. Basically boycotted the game without officially doing so in order to collect the big paycheck from the bowl.

In actuality, Lions should be up at least 18-3, probably worse, if Barnes doesn’t run right past Dak for that safety earlier. Crazy how one play can affect the entire game.

Lions are forced to have to score a TD now because their coach is too agressive. At worst, should be down 17-16 only needing a FG to retake lead. I can’t believe the amount of mistakes in this game from both sides. It’s like they have high school coaches on the sidelines.
