There is no place for threats, especially death threats (in spite of what I say about officials...but I never say it TO them, so that isn't really a threat, is it?)

That said, it is a little disingenuous to complain about being "sexualized" when you go to an SI swimsuit shoot and make comments like these:

“I am unapologetically Angel,” Reese said during her SI Swimsuit shoot. “I am a queen. I am confident. I am strong. I am who I am.

“The biggest takeaway I want people to know is you can be girly off the court and still have swag and just be who you are. I mean, I embrace my body and who I am and on the court I can still ball. I am all for these young people making a life for themselves, but we live in a culture that takes no quarter. If you are a hero today, you WILL be a target tomorrow. They are too young to get that, and they are so talented that no one wants to piss them off by telling them that.
Of course, even if they were told, they likely wouldn't listen; their brains are still developing.

Celebrity culture. Ugh.

I guess that's reason 101 why I don't follow female sports. I don't care what you think about your body or what you tell me they say about you at the swimming pool. I don't hear Lebron or Tom Brady talking about such stuff

I never see Angel Reese stay & sign autographs after games bc she's always running off the court after games. She may stay for an interview but that's it.

To me, it means you are simply the next woman up.

She ran up to Caitlin Clark in the national championship last year and pointed at her ring finger right to her face. Sorry, but someone who is that blatantly disrespectful immediately makes my 💩 list. Difficult to say anything nice or have any type of respect for someone that acts like that and claims to be a “role model” as she thinks she is. She seems like the type of person that would punch someone and whenever she got punched back in retaliation claim to be the victim. Just really seems like a genuinely fake person to me. Can’t stand people who are that way.

How did things go? Any tornadoes touch down?

We’re expecting that here in SW Ohio in an hour or so. They’ve put the fear in us for days now about all this. Schools are now sending kids home early and closings are scrolling across the TV screen 24/7. They say we’re not out of the woods till 10pm tonight

…and maybe a snowflake or two tomorrow

I’m not condoning people wishing harm on others. But…..She wasn’t bringing up the death threats until she lost. How coincidental to shift the focus of the narrative all because she fouled out and Ted Lasso did the “You can’t see me” to her. She’s really in her feelings because she doesn’t want to talk about the game that she lost, the same team/player she was taunting last season. Oh but that’s just “who I am because I’m a strong, confident, queen”. Keep that same energy whenever you lose. She’s fake and everyone knows it.

It rained hard and heavy for about 20 minutes and moved on out with no damage that I’m aware of. I had to turn off weather alerts bc my phone was blowing up out of Memphis.
