Getting destroyed for saying just this in the RF right now. A sweep in this conference is always good, but it isn’t indicative of anything, much less anything good.

Cal Stark would be the best hitter on their team if he played for them, also have the worst pitching in the conference and we barely squeaked by with the sweep. Happy we did it, but there’s just not much to take from it other than bats absolutely cannot be that cold against Vandy, UF or USCe.

Edit: now someone has said that I must not watch the baseball team. Sigh

Missouri does play hard so I will give them that but they are absolutely horrid on offense. Everything lined up for us this weekend to have a down series with the bats. I expected the pitching to do well since they were going up against one of the worst lineups in power 5.

On our way to the 4th consecutive season being over .500 in conference play. Haven’t done that since Delmonico’s teams did it 5 consecutive seasons from 1993-97 and Bill Wright’s teams also doing it 5 straight from 1972-76. Those are the only other times our program has strung together this many winning seasons in a row within the conference.
