Arkansas has to play both Kentucky and A&M….the mighty Vols don’t have to play any of the other 3….exciting!

We still have some difficult games but it’s nice that we avoid the top 2 teams from the West. Feels like the first time the schedule has worked in our favor in years.

Just by the math….those 3 teams are guaranteed to take 6 more losses between one another…the Vols have no guaranteed losses!

A&M gets LSU and Ole Miss though. That can easily be 6 wins for them. I feel like they have the advantage out of the 4 teams fighting for the 1 seed. Even if we win our remaining series 2-1 apiece, we would still end up tied with them if they sweep those series and get swept by Arkansas. And we have to hope we win the tiebreaker. Personally, I think A&M will sweep those series and win that series at Arkansas 2-1 and take the conference by 1 game over us. Just the way the schedule shakes out unfortunately. We have winnable series but don’t see us sweeping any of our remaining opponents. They are all good teams.

6-3 and I’ll be very pleased with the ‘24 regular season!
Florida, the vandee bois and the cocks, will be licking their chops to knock the Vols down a notch!
It’ll be a battle the last 3 weekends and I’m very much looking forward to it!

As long as we win all the remaining series I will take our chances. A&M has a fine ball club. I wouldn’t doubt our guys sweeping South Carolina in that final home series if they need to though! 20-10 or better is fine by me regardless of how it plays out elsewhere.
