I think all the teams in the 1st round cared. A few needed a win to feel comfortable about a spot in the NCAAT and Georgia wants a top 8 seed. Mississippi State wants to host too. LSU and Vanderbilt pretty much secured a spot imo. They might want to get 1 more win to solidify it though. Now Florida is going to have to sweat it out and Georgia is probably not liking their chances for that 8 seed either.

I was just saying I’ve never seen a BA drop nearly 20 points over a 20 game hitting streak. Usually guys that go on long streaks have some 3 and 4 hit games sprinkled in there. For him to have two games with 2 hits and all the rest are 1 hit games, that’s very unusual.

Marte is a career .279 BA and that's with 2 above.300 seasons which was unusual because every other year was between.240 and .290
