No, it’s the Coastal Plain League. McNair Field was built for the Owls. The late owner of the Houston Texans, Bob McNair, is from Forest City, NC. It’s college summer league.

All are still in use with the new Appy League. It is summer wood bat as well since MLB reduced the number of minor league teams. They continue to be used as high school and college fields.

The one in elizabethton is used by eliz high, some babe ruth league play, and the summer ball league. The elizabethton river riders.

Edit to add Marcus Philips is on their roster, wonder if that's old or he will join them after vols season?

I was at work and didn’t see the game. Just now looking at the box score. Washington is awful on offense. 3 guys WELL below the Mendoza Line and one guy batting .138 on the season. Very perplexed…

Vols finish tied for 10th in NCAA golf championship….first day is what cost them a spot in final 8 and match play…they finished 3 shots off of 8th place..last three rounds for them were 11 shots or better than day 1 result. One day can always cost you in any sport!
