I don’t understand why the Negro league can’t just be a special thing on its own? Maybe I’m wrong, but I view it as a very iconic piece of American history and don’t think it should be watered down with MLB.🤷‍♂️
Can we add Reggie White’s USFL stats to his NFL numbers?
I always include Reggie White’s USFL numbers. There were actually multiple HOFs, Pro Bowlers, Hiestman Winners, and coaches that played/coached there. It was actually a legitimate league to me. Some big names.

Reggie White
Steve Young
Jim Kelly
Gary Zimmerman
Herschel Walker
Mike Rozier
Doug Flutie
Antony Carter
Gary Clark
Sean Landeta
Kent Hull
Steve Spurrier
Lee Corso

I’m trying to figure out how they plan on doing divisions while keeping the NL and AL whenever MLB expands to 32 teams. I know Nashville is eyed for one location and some are saying the other location is between Charlotte, San Antonio, and Portland. I think Charlotte is out because the Braves would not want 2 new teams dropped into their territory. That leaves Portland and San Antonio. I’m leaning more towards Portland to give the Mariners a close rival since there are already 2 teams in Texas.

I see several people thinking they will do four 4-team divisions in each league. I just think 4 teams is too small and me being a Braves fan I don’t want our division to consist of the Nashville team, Marlins, and Nationals. We would run that division every year and no Mets/Phillies would not be exciting for me. I think two 8-team divisions for each league would be the best path forward to preserve the divisional rivalries and reunite an old one with the Braves/Reds

NL East:

Braves
Reds
Phillies
Mets
Marlins
Nationals
Pirates
Nashville

NL West:

Dodgers
Giants
Padres
Rockies
Diamondbacks
Cubs
Cardinals
Brewers

AL East:

Yankees
Red Sox
Blue Jays
Orioles
Rays
Guardians
Tigers
White Sox

AL West:

Angels
Athletics
Mariners
Minnesota
Royals
Astros
Rangers
Portland/San Antonio
They'll keep 3 divisions in each League.

Nashville will probably go in East and Portland/ San Antonio would be A.L. West.

In baseball we can put together a list of Hall of Famers who played in AA. Doesn't mean that those stats should count for MLB.

If we include Negro League stats in MLB, we might as well add Japanese and Korean Leagues. Sadaharu Oh can now be the MLB home run champ with 868

I’m not saying that the Negro League stats should be integrated. I already said they shouldn’t, mainly due to the fact that well over a quarter of that league’s stats are missing. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to integrate something whenever you are missing such a large chunk.

The USFL was a different story. Guys were getting more money to play there so bigger names followed. The league got greedy, otherwise it would have probably succeeded back then.

Braves are calling up their next victim for the 5th starter spot:

Atlanta has had trouble finding a suitable replacement for Spencer Strider, who made two starts before suffering a season-ending elbow injury and undergoing Tommy John surgery. The Braves tried Bryce Elder(five starts), Darius Vines (two) and Ray Kerr, AJ Smith-Shawver and Allan Winans (one start apiece) as a replacement with little success.
