Pretty good considering 32 teams is half the field. So 40 percent of the worst teams in the Sec advanced halfway or further through the tournament. Not sure what else to expect. Vandy underperformed…South Carolina was about standard….Bama really worst team that got in. Florida got through but we will see what they do going forward. Of course top 5 Arkansas was as awful as Vandy was. I am now on record saying DVH will not win a national title!

This weekend has actually made the SEC not look good imo. Arkansas gets put out by SEMO. Vanderbilt and Alabama get double dipped. South Carolina couldn’t even make it out of the loser’s bracket. Mississippi State got a tough draw so I give them a pass. You get 11 teams in and only 5, potentially 6 advance. Not a good look. All these teams basically said we’re tired of the SEC talk.

I think this game could go long way on perceived good weekends. 6 out of 11 is very solid. If you beat the top seeded ACC team on their home field that helps. Only one good team was embarrassing and that’s becoming a trend for them and something they need to address…not an indictment on the conference.

They won the other division of the conference that is the “best conference in America”. Pretty embarrassing for the league. No matter, the Vols are going to carry the torch anyways.

The Acc the next best conference….UNC won that league regular season and a Sec may knock them out…nobody is carrying the torch elsewhere….the top 3 Sec teams all advanced…including the two best teams in the country…Vols and Aggies

I think it’s pretty unanimous that the Vols and Aggies are the most balanced teams in the country. Those were the most popular championship picks.

One thing I would like to see changed is the home/away rule for regionals. I think they changed the super regionals so that the hosting team will be considered the home team all three games. The higher seeded team in regionals should always be considered the home team imo.
