If Billy Wagner has a hard time getting into the HOF with 422 saves and the 2nd lowest ERA among modern day pitchers with at least 900 IP, then Chapman has zero shot at gettin in imo. Lower ERA than Hoffman, Eckersley, and Fingers. Only Mariano Rivera was a better closer to me personally. Wagner has the best strikeout rate with at least 900 IP since 1900 and struck out a third of the batters he faced. Ridiculous that dude isn’t in the HOF.

IMO, HOF voting has changed, they will deny it but it has changed.
I feel like with WAR and advanced stats, a players “legendary status” can be manipulated.
