Game to be on ESPNU of which I don't have on my cable menu.
It's interesting to consider that baseball became and reigned as "America's Sport" during the decades when radio was the only way to bring it to the masses.

Our broadcast team does a very entertaining and informative job. Step back in time and enjoy being a regular kid from1948, letting your imagination fill in what few gaps you may experience. You can even knock out some minor chores while listening.

That’s not Tony’s style. He isn’t about to be calling out the fanbase. He takes the blame for literally everything, even if it was something that wasn’t even his fault.

I know I know. There’s a large % of our fan base who would clutch their pearls with that dose of reckoning including those online today saying they wish he’d leave for Arkansas

I always enjoy listening to Wilkerson on the radio. I have chosen to listen to games instead of watch them in the past. Sometimes more excitement builds from that imo. He does a fabulous job on the calls.

I didn't see those posts, but I have any nega vols I come across over the past two years. Some people aren't worth even reading their comments, or at least, that the way it is for me.

I think I've listened to more Braves games than I've seen.

Also, I was surprised at how good Wilkerson is once I found a way to listen to him. Sometimes the broadcast is slightly behind the espn video, sometimes it's wayyyy ahead.

Either way, I like listening to games too.

I can't explain why our wheels fell off today when we were cruising 4-0 easy like.
Did we start taking Evansville for granted that we had them beat today?
Beam went from mowing them down to a complete implosion job. Idk what happened but I had full confidence we were going to win after we hit 3 bombs in the first inning. Can’t remember the last time we hit 3 homers in one inning and lost. Wild.

I know right? My brother in Cal didn't get to see the game & asked me what happened.
I told him the wheels fell off for no reason as we were cruising along like the game was ours. And then BOOM .... we were behind too far to catch up.

I'm the worst with naps. During the school year this past semester, I took a supposed nap at 4PM and didn't wake up until 9AM ish the next day.

After the game ended, the guys a live with were low energy, so to get us going I suggested doing some outdoor things like tennis, fishing, going to 6 Flags, swimming at my parents house, go carting in the Dawsonville area, horse back riding, badminton, 2 on 2 hoops. I didn't have any takers, so I told them I'm going to take a nap, go for a long run and then see if they were up for doing some later.

So... you're dang right I / we are too young for taking naps. However, we did stay up until 7 AM and only got 3-4 hours of sleep,, but still...

Good news is that my roommate is as wired/energetic as I am and we'll stay up and do fun stuff until late sunday night. We're already discussing the plan for the next day or so and if the others want to join us they can, but I don't like wasting a nice day or night indoors when the weather is good.

What have you been up to today?
Good stuff…took my wife out to brunch…and then my daughter and her to the BaseVols game. Then dropped off my daughter and took my wife to Audrey’s for dinner… Drove by to take a look at some acreage for sale. Nothing too exciting…

Baseball is not a game that you can play tight. When met with adversity, they struggled today. The 9th inning was more like this teams demeanor.
I’m surprised because of the SEC tournament should have had us prepared.
Well the SECT doesn’t have a trip to Omaha on the line. Huge difference in pressure. We already knew we were no worse than the #2 seed heading into Hoover so it’s easier to play loose. Some kids know how to buckle down, some have to learn how to do it, some never learn how to do it unfortunately.
