There IS a ton of politically charged discussion related to Clark and other WNBA players.

However, assuming a political angle to a post citing a journalist's opinion about the need for teammates to step up when their star is being targeted is, in and of itself, political.

Is it not?

A star is getting targeted. Fact.

It needs to stop. Fact.

I recommend her teammates take Clay's advice.

Why it's happening is a politically charged debate and is, as mentioned, best not discussed here.
