It's noNO DAMN WAY THAT IS ACCURATE.
For one thing Ohio State lost to Oregon last night.
Exactly !Some TOP teams lost on Saturday & their ranking is wrong..
I'm not sure I'd say they are meaningless given how they are computed.Power index rankings are different from AP and coaches poll. Doesn't matter how many you lose. These rankings are meaningless in the grand scheme of things

Pardon me fellas. I was thinking these were "new" updated rankings. Carry on.It's no
Exactly !
It's a Power Index, NOT a ranking based on AP or Coaches.
Look into what how this index works and you'll find it's pretty neat and after that, it's still just an index, not a ranking.
Don’t mistake computers being unbias. A human programmed it. Bias is built in.I'm not sure I'd say they are meaningless given how they are computed.
For the most part they evaluate who beat who and by how many points and how powerful the opponent was based on who the opponents played and their power index numbers.
The committee has two copies each during the meetings to choose the 12 team playoff field. They use one copy to poop on and the other copy to cover it up with .I'm not sure I'd say they are meaningless given how they are computed.

I learned a long time ago not to predict how a team's win/loss season goes.Pre-season, I thought Tennessee would go 9-3
At the halfway point I thought UT would be 5-1, but the one loss would have been to a different team.
For the second half of the season, I think UT will go 5-1 and finish 10-2!
What are you thoughts or predictions for the second half of the season?
