@VolPack22

You think Dodgers should sit Ohtani in game 3 since they're up 2-0 in series?
Shoulders are extremely unstable joints. Depending on the severity of the subluxation, the doctor may not give him the choice of playing. He’s already got the elbow issues. No need to risk further injury since this is something that is highly likely to be re-aggravated. You see the issues Squirrel White is having on a weekly basis. He can’t even lift his arm above shoulder height and is constantly having to come out of games. This is very similar to that.

BYU looking like they will run the table. Their best opponent left is Arizona State. Iowa State has been playing with fire. They will slip up more than likely. I don’t see a path for the Big 12 getting 2 participants into the CFP. Maybe if BYU goes undefeated and loses the Big 12 Championship Game but even then, their best win would be Kansas State.

Ohio State plays at Penn State next week. Big 10 is down to 4 teams still in play but if Ohio State loses that game they could be down to 3 in with Oregon, Indiana, and Penn State.

SEC still has 6 teams in play but Alabama and LSU will be playing an elimination game so there will be no more than 5 SEC teams in play with A&M, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee and Alabama/LSU winner but either of those two is highly likely to be left out.

The ACC still have Clemson, Miami, and Pitt undefeated and SMU with 1 loss. Pitt still has SMU and Clemson to play. Miami and Clemson should be facing off in the ACC Championship and the winner of SMU/Pitt might get in with 1 loss.

And then you have the Group of 5 representative.

As of right now the CFP projections should be:

BYU (Big 12 Champion)
Oregon (Big Ten Champion)
Penn State
Indiana
A&M
Georgia (SEC Champion)
Texas
Tennessee
Clemson (ACC Champion)
Miami
Pitt/SMU
Boise State (Group of 5)

Just need IU to lose to Michigan and Ohio St and Pitt to drop a couple…those are the schools we don’t need stealing a slot

You are leaving a very noteable team out…key is staying as third highest rated Sec team…wouldn’t hold breathe as 4th team currently…you may hate the team not mentioned but they would get in….

you also can’t rule out other teams that you think theoretically are eliminated…

A 11-1 Notre Dame gets in whether anyone likes it or not..

Yep and when the rankings come out in a few hours they would hold a spot…they are getting in barring no more losses…guaranteed
You are banking on them beating USC. That’s a rivalry game that can go either way. If they do in fact finish with 1 loss then yes they will get in.

No…if they lose 2 they are out…but they will be in every ranking until that final week regardless…I wouldnt be banking on USC or Lincoln Riley to win that game though…

I’m leaving them out until they actually run the table. USC is a rivalry game and you never what will happen in that game.
I will go one step farther, not only will a 11-1 Notre Dame team get in playoffs. They will host a first round game, not because they're the better team it will be because that's what's best for business...

@VolPack22

You think Dodgers should sit Ohtani in game 3 since they're up 2-0 in series?

I don't know, I'd go with whatever Ohtani wants or feels like. Being up 2-0 is right where the Dodgers should be and I think that because if all they do is win their home games, they win the series which is what I think will happen.

I never separated any joint and I'm sure I'm better off for it.

I honestly thought watching the replay in slow mo would show me why his shoulder got partially separated, but I don't see anything. If he had just popped up and stood on 2nd base without an injury, I'd view that as completely normal.

Players like Ohtana are a huge investment, so I'd guess that the Dodgers aren't going to take any chances with him.

Do YOU think Ohtani should sit out game three?

Um no…LSU doesn’t have a Bama win! Bama is now our friend and will make us look good as they win.

LSU dropped 9 spots in coaches poll to #16

Tennessee better keep it close vs Georgia, I fear if Tennessee loses by 10+ the same thing could happen..
I also like that we are at 7 and A&M is stuck at 11…they will not be ranked above us at 10-2…we are in very good position…but again that poll doesn’t matter…the rankings next Tuesday will give you a true positioning
