Yeah the Big 10 sucks at baseball. Oregon might have a chance to run that conference. Their baseball team has been pretty good of late.Out of curiosity I looked at USC and UCLA baseball schedule for 2025. Just to see what the Little10 has in store for them.

Big 10 Tourney- Omaha 5/20-5/25
4 road trips to some possibly inhospitable places in upper midwest.
ZERO excuse for the B1G to start a west coast team's conference schedule in Ann Arbor on March 14th!
Even Michigan would rather start the season in SoCal!
UCLA has only released their B1G schedule and theirs is FAR more favorable with only 2 potential cold weather dates. Again, they start the season 2,641 miles away in suburban Baltimore, but at least that's better than Ann Arbor.
3/7-3/9 @ Maryland
3/14-3/16 Nebraska
3/21-3/23 Indiana
3/28-3/30 @ Purdue
4/11-4/13 Washington
4/18-4/20 @ Oregon
4/25-4/27 Penn State
5/2-5/4 @ USC
5/9-5/11 @ Illinois
5/15-5/17 Northwestern
Pac12 baseball was already struggling in recent years.
Being tied to the Big10 may be the final stab in the heart.
The California talent can go to a BigWest and West Coast Conference and play in nothing but good weather in front of bigger crowds than they'll see in the Rust Belt.
There is no logical reason for the four west coast teams not to host the opening weekend every season. Their conference foes would likely appreciate it just as much.
In fact. Let all the west coast teams host the first two weekends and then play the last two weekends on the road after school term is over.
Former ETSU Buc takes the bump vs. the Yankees tonight. Landon Knack.
