I'm not having a party or dinner party, but my fave thing is happening: kids just showing up for dinner or to make dinner, so it will end up being a very casual dinner party of sorts. It will def turn into more of a dinner party if the younger PA shows up though. Marc is def interested in her. Funny thing or sad thing for Marc is that there are two girls from Emory that like him and I promised them I wouldn't say anything to him, but I'm going to see if I can put a timer on them that lasts another week or two because Marc won't catch on with them doing something on his own, which he won't.
Thai kids, making some falafel kind of thing. Japanese kids are in auto pilot mode making sushi. Chinese kids, cutting stuff up for something in a Wok.
I know that doesn't seem like an awesome college night thing to do, but to me? It's pretty cool and kinda awesome.
What I want in my life is a place is for people to just casually go on a Fri, Saturday or Sunday and that I might or might not be here and they should stay anyone because unless I left for the weekend, I'll be around eventually.
My contractor Tom and his wife are a great example, they are in their late 20s and are "kinda sick of themselves and it's boring at their house and while it may not be a party here, it's more fun here than it would ever be in house or in their neighborhood. As Jason and I used to think and act on is that it's more fun to do nothin' with some or a few people than by yourself.
