I saw on FanGraphs that in the 2020s, Burnes has allowed the fewest doubles per batter faced at a 2.67% rate and Fried is tied with Ohtani for allowing the 6th fewest at 3.51%. A lot of that has to do with the quality of your outfield but those are still very good numbers.

Read where Cody Bellinger is on the trading block this off-season.

I will be absolutely shocked if Soto signs with Dodgers, the Mets and Yankees are fighting over Soto.

Hopefully Adames ends up in L.A. playing for Dodgers, Teoscar Hernandez probably going elsewhere now and with the addition Snell look for Buehler to sign with another team as well.

Phillies have swooped in for Adames also, Red Sox appear linked to everyone. Whenever Adames comes off the board expect everyone to be fighting over Bregman.

$60 million of it...

Looks like other teams would defer money it's not against the rules..
Not every team is based in Los Angeles and has beautiful weather year round, women walking around naked, and beaches to go to. Dodgers are basically aiding in tax evasion for all their players. They have deferred nearly $1B across 5 players and whenever those players leave California they won’t be claiming that deferred money in that state. That’s the Dodgers way of getting around the state income tax argument against them. I expect the next CBA to have this issue as a top priority.

Good for Baker not letting his father take advantage of his wealth. I’ll be giving you money regardless but I’m not going to let you take $12M, then tell me you are going to pay me back and not even pay me back a single dime. Great job dad, you probably ruined your relationship with your son now.

That D-Bag nor any sitting University Official should be allowed on the playoff committee….
Besides their “Principles”, every fan looks at strength of schedule. We see beat downs in the bowl games every year. Look no further than Indiana at OSU.
Exactly because if a SEC AD was the head of the Committee he/she would be doing the same homerism..
