C’mon VP! You know I would rather Cohen had spent $765 million on a couple of pieces, but you can’t honestly compare Soto to Ozuna!
If Soto stays on the trajectory he’s on and stays relatively healthy, he’ll go down as one of the greats.
He just turned 26, project his stats for another 10 years...

I was just talking purely production. And Soto is a below average defender and he hasn’t come close to hitting for .300 in the last 3 seasons. No way in hell he should have gotten Ohtani money. The only guy right now that might be in the same ballpark offensively is Judge. But once you factor in Ohtani coming back to pitch it’s not even close. Cohen way overpaid for Soto.
