Friday night was the AT&T Christmas party and he had some with us, my cousin Jeff and two of his closest work friends.
Last night my roommates/friends and I went to AT&T's Christmas party which I really like. Jason and my girlfriend went with us and we had a lot of fun there.

Late morning, if the weather is any good, we're going to go horseback riding at Rob's grandparents house. My parents have never done that before and would like to try it, so Rob arranged that.

In the afternoon some of my former lacrosse teammates and classmates have been invited to come to my parents house and that can be a small quick thing or turn into dinner and and evening of doing stuff with them. Two have already committed to coming over and staying for dinner. I really like spending time with what used to be my lacrosse mentor. He, Jason and Marc really like the hot tub, so I'm going to guess we'll be drinking out there eventually.

Sunday afternoons my mom and here cooking club friends host a big, early dinner that goes on for several hours and then additional people stop by for dessert, drinks, etc. That will go pretty late on Sunday because most people are either retired or done working for the year.

Did your Dad like the aged Pappy’s?

Answer: Very much and we had some on his birthday in September and by we I mean with me and what my dad considers his other 4 sons.

The first things that come to mind for my mom are:

Mini meat slicer
British Tea Kettle, tea cups and saucers, tea
I've planned several things we can all do together - my mom loves that kind of stuff.

I hope you have a fun and interesting weekend too.

Often times, I plan several things for a day and then at the very end of the day I look back on it and laugh and think, "Well, my day didn't go as I expected. At ALL". haha and sometimes it just ends up humdrum or regular? And when that happens? It doesn't bother me because there's always something fairly interesting to do, I or we just need to think about it for a little bit and get motivated.

What my parents and I want is for our homes to get used and if they're the default places to go because people are just looking for something to do? So be it.
For example if it ends up cold and rainy today. My lacrosse friends would still come over, so that's 6 of us plus my parents and probably Brian and his mom and sister and we'd make tomato soup and have grilled cheese and then see what sports are on TV.

Then I could see most of us convinced that we'd have just as good a time in the rain in the hot tub or playing some card game or something, anything. Our neighborhood has quite a few older people in it and they tend to stop by because of their daily walk. Or at least a few cooking club ladies are bringing stuff over for Sunday and stay for a glass of wine and end up playing bridge or hearts or something. The day kind of unfolds in a different way is my point and I think it's a good place for people quite a bit older than my parents and I think that's why I'm so comfortable talking with older people.

This was very good btw. A lot, if not most people don't know that kind of stuff and as the guy in the video showed you, it's a big deal with big percentages etc. That's why getting an accountant involved in your life asap you have money is so important. It's either that or give away half your money to some cause in some country you didn't even know about 4 years ago or some other thing you don't agree with.

NOT knowing this kind of stuff is why so many rich people go bankrupt. ie, you think Joe Montana is out there advertising some service at this stage of his life is because it's fun?

Or Shaq? Shaq is pretty much broke except for his $100 million home in Florida and if he didn't live in Florida, he'd be broke. smh
