Sampson playing his senior year is his decision. I didn't break his arm over it.

I read Sampson was likely to inquire about his likely spot with teams and make a decision sometime between now and combine. But sooner rather than later because we may hit the portal for someone, if needed. Wait and see is my view.

Carr wanted to save this year by redshirting and look for more minutes elsewhere. It was a surprise but not entirely as upsetting as it may seem. Perhaps there were some locker room issues and not the perfect fit that way. Barnes usually only plays 8 guys, so barring injuries, it may not have a big impact if all goes well.
