I’m not proud of this fact but I’ve never seen a Tennessee basketball win in person.
Been to 4 games, two of them vs Kentucky. (One in Knoxville, One in Lexington)
Also went to a Xavier game where we lost in the Volunteer classic.
Most recent one was against Miami of Ohio in 98.
Wally Szczerbiak went off and they stormed the court.

I’ve seen more wins than losses in basketball. I’ve seen us beat UConn, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, probably a couple others I am forgetting. Now that I think about it, the only time we lost whenever I attended was a SECT semifinal game vs Florida in Atlanta. It was that game they double T’d up Maymon whenever he was walking away from the official. Tennessee led most of the day. Game was tied up at 45 with about 5 minutes left and it gave Florida 4 straight free throws and possession. And then we cut back to 2 points with a little over a minute left and they called us for a flagrant foul, 2 free throws for Florida and possession. I was furious.

This game doesn't have much flow.
I'm not sure which team is creating this vibe, but it's less fun to watch than a normal Tenn game.

Maybe the philosophy of this game so far is Barnes challenging players who aren't ZZ, to take shots so Tenn doesn't become a one dimensional team leaning too heavily on ZZ to be Superman.
