The effect of Tennessee's win over USC on this week's ESPN Bowl predictions

I would take them playing in the liberty bowl. Would be a nice 10 minute drive to see the Vols instead of a 5 hour drive

Same here. I would be surprised if the Music City Bowl doesn't go after us if we are eligible.

Let's get to a Bowl, then we can have a discussion. I don't take anything for granted any more.
Go Vols

We got screwed vs Clemson. Remember Mark Jones blatant TD catch they ruled incomplete?

More it was, after just missing out on the SEC championship by tiebreaker, Clausen and the receivers were the only ones who showed up to play in the bowl game. (Like everyone was in letdown mode at just missing it and then playing more or less a consolation game)

The defense played absolutely horrid...to a point where, among other things, there were wide open dropped interceptions that were hitting players in the hands.

Falling for that fumblerooski also stands out

Wasn't that the last season that Randy Sanders was offensive coordinator?

One play away......means nothing......but an "L."

That sounds like logic (the "if only," syndrome) from a "former" regime.

Well, I didn't mean to imply that type of logic. My comment was more of, let's give this team a chance for the remainder of the season. They are getting better each week.

How about this for your "If only logic". If only we were 5-2 maybe some wouldn't be so pessimistic about the remaining games.

Easy win and close proximity to fertile recruiting grounds were looking to cultivate? Yeah, I'll take it.
