Well considering a lot of games are close and in our league defenders account for 20-25 pts a week I'd say fairly important. Just looking at my matchup this week our offensive players are close 4 pts, but my D players are projected to outscore his by 14.
Did my draft last night. Picked 5th. QB Stafford/Dalton. RB Gurley/Martin/Rawls/Gordon. WR Evans/Cobb/Floyd(Az)/Crabtree/Gordon TE Thomas/Graham D/ST Jets K Tucker. One of my goals going in was to have depth at RB and I think I did a pretty good job there. Took Josh Gordon and Graham as low risk/high reward picks(Graham in the 13th round)
Tied for 5th in a draft kings $100,000 first prize. The people in 1-4 all have had at least 3 players play already. 5 of us tied for 5th have only had one player play (C.J. Anderson)
Here's hoping Danny Woodhead and Joe Flacco go off this weekend and solve all of my life problems.

Kyle Shanahan said the team will "go with the guy who's hot" at running back this season.
Advice: "Whoever's rolling with it, you stick with him," said Shanahan. "When they need a break, the other guy comes in. You try to keep them both fresh to see how it pans out at the end of the game." While ESPN Falcons reporter Vaughn McClure said he still considers Freeman the "workhorse," Shanahan's words suggest otherwise. Coleman lost the starting job to Freeman after suffering a rib injury last season but now he's back and ready to cut into Freeman's workload. With Coleman nipping at his heels, Freeman projects as more of an RB2 going forward.
Flacco, Woodhead? I don't care for Flacco, and Riddick would've been the better passing back to grab, imo.
Theo Riddick is also 1,000 cheaper playing on a pass happy team. I also think there's better options for cheaper at qb.
Woodhead will have a C.J. Anderson type game most likely. Early in the years he always drops 15+ consistently. Flacco was my only iffy mark but with who he's up against he's certainly better than taking a risk on an unknown or a good player against a great defense.
Agree to disagree, goodluck.
