With Belichick you never know. This week was a bad matchup for running the ball.

Except Belichick also kept the guy on the bench for oversleeping their practice on...it was either Thursday or Friday.

And gave the ball to Blount (who they'd just signed mid-week) 12 times and let him run for almost 80 yards and 2 TDs. (Granted a fair chunk of those yards and the 2nd TD came in the 2nd half.)

It wasn't that Gray had trouble running; he was in Belicheck's dog house...enough so to not even put the guy in at the end.

9-3, 9-3, 8-4, 8-4, 6-6, and 6-6. Right now I'm the playoffs in 5 leagues. In the 6th playing the guy in the last playoff spot next, I have more points if both 6-6 teams win I'll make the playoffs in every league.

My roster at the moment is:

QB: Stafford, Tannenhill
RB: Murray, CJ Anderson, Ingram, Jonas Gray
TE: Julius Thomas, Tim Wright (NE)
WR: Odell Beckham, Brandon Lafell, Jordan Mathews, Martavis Bryant, Andre Johnson, Steve Smith (just picked him up tonight; previously also had Fitzgerald but I dropped him after his injury+Stanton in order to switch QBs this week)
K: Mason Crosby

I guess I could always just drop the kicker during the week for stills.

But I'm really not sure how much point there is in keeping Gray...especially with Vereen still there and healthy and the HC not only benching the guy for ocersleeping, but letting the guy the just signed 3 days before the game - granted he was probably already familiar with their system - go wild like that

I would dump gray

That's what I'm thinking. Belicheck really went out of his way to make an example out of the guy...I'm not sure I can see him just giving him back the starting job after something like that, especially with the other two guys still healthy.

I ended up dropping Crosby for Stills and while I was at it, I dropped TE Tim Wright for WR Charles Johnson. (Because if Julius Thomas turns plays again next week, I probably wouldn't use him.)

Should I try to get Latavius Murray off of waivers (he's on them until the 26th)? I am at the top of the waiver order at the moment.

If you need another running back, i would. Hell i have Forsett, CJ Anderson, Crowell, and Fred Jackson but im trying to drop Charles Sims for him.

My roster's now:

QB: Matthew Stafford, Ryan Tannenhill
RB: Demarco Murray, Mark Ingram, C.J. Anderson, Jonas Gray
WR: Odell Beckham, Brandon LaFell, Martavis Bryant, Jordan Matthews, Steve Smith, Andre Johnson, Kenny Stills, Charles Johnson
TE: Julius Thomas

I figure if I really want to go after Latavius and/or get Wright again, I could drop some combination of Jonas Gray/Ryan Tannenhill/ and/or Andre Johnson.

Id drop Gray for L. Murray. I think Thomas will play this week.

Finally a win! Won with 142 points, next closest person was 110.

These three are on the waivers, who would you pick?? : C.J Anderson, LeGarrette Blount, and Latavius Murray.

Anderson easily. Never trust Patriots RBs. Its like a revolving door and very game plan specific. Murray had a good game but id wait and see.
