Wow he lied about how many phone calls he made to recruits.No recruit is going to care about that.They hate the Ncaa like we do.I know i can't stand their petty little rules like how many phone calls you make to players.what kind of BS rule is that.The Nc double *******s should have bigger fish to fry like Kentucky and coach Calamari.

Do you remember Pearl using the Memphis job opening to get a raise?

I'm not a "Pearl basher" by any means, but the man is here for a paycheck and for a possible career advancement (which is probably out the window now).

It's asinine to think otherwise.

Not here for a career advancement because I honestly think he would've been here as long as he wanted to coach even before this. He had a chance to go to Boston College, his Alma Mater, Iowa, and if he really wanted to advance his career why didn't he go to Memphis where he could've salvaged and took some of those recruits that left when Cal did and then would've had the #1 class in the nation the next year. He is here for a paycheck but so is every coach and teacher but that doesn't make them less loyal.

Exactly. If she, Todd Helton, Peyton Manning and the rest of Buzz's Crying Choir had gotten their way, Pearl never steps foot in TBA.

At this point unless there is a post season ban, I don't see this as hurting the basketball program at all. Recruits don't have a problem committing to Calipari with all that he has done. This only hurts Pearls wallet and reputation. Even if we lose a scholarship or two, how often does the 12th/13th man play anyway. It won't affect this years team.

I llike CBP even though he made a bad mistake. Let us wait until it all falls out before we commit him to the devil! I don't believe BigPapa is a VOL fan. If he is, not a very loyal one.
