The fans wrote a check that the team could not cash

For all the people who traveled, flood Danny Whites office with the expense receipts. Something has to be done to make them understand that last night was and will always be unacceptable and there has to be some kind of accountability on their part or things will never get better.
You chose you name well…

Bama and Florida were here this year. Oklahoma was way down this year. We lost every game on the road after a break the week before. The players were not ready in those games and the coaching schemes were horrible. TN travels to Bama and FL next year and we will probably lose those games.
We will come in at 8 and 4 next year falling to Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and the Hogs that we can't beat for some reason.

It’s got to be because they never played a down of football in their life. Cause anybody that’s played since they were little all the way up to at least a senior in high school would understand that being complacent breeds mediocrity.
Continuing to do the same things that have failed before is a receipe for failure..

I'm sure those who are petty and feel entitled will do just that

As if we didn't sit through 2008-2020. I'll take the climb back to relevancy vs. the 'perennial powerhouses" over THAT decade plus. Learning to win on the biggest stage means sometimes getting your ass kicked. That's life.

Thanks to last night, we are all loservols today. The opposing fans and media are not only laughing at us, but the team and coaches. Put on the sack cloth and spread the ashes in your hair.
Naw..I’m good. Always better to be a Vol than a dawg or a crimson puke

That is what appears will happen. Is there another team we play that is after a week off. Might pencil that one in too as a loss.

You can’t just dismiss the wins we had out if hand, especially Bama and Florida. Look at it this way. By us beating Bama kept them out of the playoffs. Can’t you at least be happy about that?

New OL Coach, DB Coach, DC, and more offensive creativity.

Then go get better players that will play up to the level that we're paying them

Not that it really mattered all that much but the shirtless stunt before the game got Ohio State even more fired up than they already were.
It was a silly move and should have been stopped by the trainers. Cold weather exposure saps your energy. Did it affect the game or play of the team? Probably not. But it didn’t help.
Amateurish.

Changing Ohio Stadium to Neyland North. Buying up tens of thousands of tickets and making the trip in force to Columbus to show up the Buckets and show love to our team. I've never seen anything like it. The fans of this program are amazing and deserve far more than what we got done to us last night.

The fans did way more than their part in this deal and the team put on its worst showing of the whole year. I feel so bad for those who went and froze in the cold for that mess. I hope their are team meetings to discuss how to never let that happen again.

At least we have basketball now to forget this whole nightmare.
Some of the fans couldn't cash it either

He has a good home field record but look beyond please. There are no championship games played at home. Not playoff but championship whether SEC Title or Natty. What is our goal ?

Yes, the fans were the big losers. Coaches and players all got paid in full.

Yep, saw Blonde Donde in the Food City in Bearden this a.m. after Sunday school, she still had on her orange nike shoes, still making $1 million plus a year, no visible concerns, worries or any inconveniences shown by her nor any commentary to the patrons of the store what a huge embarrassment and collapse was on display last night for all to see, suspect that she herself also realizes that it is basketball season and Barnes (as well as Vitello) were here long before she was,

Our road record this year is the same as Georgia and better than Bama. Our goal is to be consistently tough. We will have seasons where we win 8, others where we win 10. If you’re mired in a 15-20 year stretch of Dooley, Pruitt and Butch, obviously that’s not ok. Not long ago, one person asked a person in the know how much Georgia was going to score on Tennessee and the answer was “as many as they want.” With Heupel that’s no longer the case. If you’re competitive long enough, the natty may come. But in the meantime we have to appreciate the victories and successes. If you can’t bring yourself to do that, you’re going to be disappointed.

she's the chancellor, not the athletic director. believe it or not, there are other aspects to UT aside from sports.

We went up to Ohio State and made da## fools of ourselves. It wasn't just the performance on the field, though. Our fan base talked too much trash and now we look even worse as a program. I think we motivated them to play the game of their lives against us. By all means, cheer on the team and believe in our players. Don't change the name of their stadium to Neyland north online and give the other team bulletin board material.

Vol Twitter dropped the ball by not leaking Will Howard's cell phone number a few days before the game.

Tennessee fans can either slink away from what happened Saturday, act humbled, be contrite, act like they're supposed to, OR Tennessee fans can say "that's right, that's HOW WE ROLL" and be proud of raising such a stink that it became a talking point for the game.

Oh I know, people want us to be embarrassed. Screw that. I'm willing to bet every single program would kill to have fans as rabid as ours. Our fans brought it, in ways no other fans have done this year.

We shouldn't be worried about Tennessee fans talking loud and raising the stakes. Don't be. We should only be worried if we reach the day when Tennessee fans don't invest anymore.
