Turgeon likes the Big 12 and just wanted some negotiating power for a bump in pay. Still don't know how great he is gonna be & A&M was rolling before he arrived. He got bounced in the 1st round this year and his team didn't play well.

It was a joke, you really think I was serious?. Total sarcasm directed at OP for saying CMM is a bad hire. Much like my comment in response to the poster who suggested Turgeon turned down "Sun Belt $". Fans hear names that UT may have interviewed in football and basketball and assume they all turned UT down when in reality, most of them use other jobs for leverage as Painter did. My post was a joke because of all the Pearl supporters' comments about the black curtain coming back up and TBA being empty next year now that Pearl is gone. All my serious posts regarding the subject indicate that I like the CMM hire and I thought Pearl should have been fired. I was responding to one sarcastic post with another of my own.
