Body language during at-bats is off. That’s not the Ole Miss during SEC play we’re used to seeing. Call it good AZ pitching, but I think they’re throwing in the towel for the game…hoping not the series.

That’s a great point, but he hit 119 pitches last time out on Saturday and chased that with 30 pitches Monday. After that I doubt he threw a bullpen this week so who knows what he has in the tank.

I saw something a couple years or so ago during the MLB playoffs and the stats read something like 20some percent of pitchers are successful in postseason on short rest.

I wonder how that translates to college, but not on short rest…more like overused

I still think it’s super dumb they have to alternate home teams for “fairness.” If you’re hosting a Super you should be the home team all 3 games.
