The future Liberals want

If I were the Trump campaign; inwould have an ad out TOMMOROW linking this to all the democrat calls to allow men to compete in women’s sports.
All of this of course coming from a political party that claims to be the „party of women“ 🙄
If you were the Trump campaign you'd be transvestigating biological women? We are truly moving toward Idiocracy

Sounds like she didn't pass one hormone test at one event, but passed tests for the same event previously and passed all tests at the Olympics. Elevated testosterone doesn't make a woman into a "biological man" anyway, and she isn't one, people are just making up something to be mad about
I didn't know the specifics, that's why I asked. I've also seen it reported that the test she failed for world championships revealed she was a biological male. I don't know what the difference for eligibility between the Olympics and the WC's are though.

The fact she's tested positive for high levels of testosterone tells me she's likely got one of three things going on.

1) taking testosterone for competitive edge or transitioning purposes. (Not likely because the ioc is pretty consistent with PE'ers)

2) has a medical condition cancerous or otherwise (less likely because of the physical toll a lot of these conditions take on the body)

3) deviates from sexual norms/hermaphrodite with female dominant genitalia.

My best guesses based on what little we know.

No, he needs to stay out of it. This isn't a federal govt thing, this is a sport governing body issue.

A reference to intersex was made in one of the linked articles. That would lend credibility to your hermaphrodite guess...although there are other intersex peoples and not all are hermaphroditic.

You're right about the last sentence...... So I added a slash in my statement to better reflect the possibilities.

For the longest time the Olympics protected the XX chromosome division. Meaning contestants with XY chromosomes weren't eligible to compete in the protected XX division, but the XX were eligible to compete in the unprotected XY division.

The reason for XX protection being XY chromosome have a physiological advantage.

The Olympics should add an open division and partition strictly by chromosomes. An XX division, an XY division, and an open division.
Heck, make it policy not to comment on 'social gender constructs'.

“XY” was one guy editorializing, she passed the test for the same event a year before that

Well logically it looks like a dude, you do it again. No?

Its a dude.

I have no idea what was done in 2022, they reported it was a dude.

I'm not mad about anything. Just trying to understand the facts as we know them and what it most likely means.

I think passing or failing tests for same event assumes the same tests are given. I don't know if that is accurate.

I think it also assumes the tests were not only the same but testing the same things.

Agree except only need XX and open.

I had to laugh.. we go to Wally world rarely when it’s a bulk trip, back to school shopping, it’s generally an unpleasant experience compared to other places 😂 did not see these ‘affluent shoppers’ at any point… were we the affluent shoppers? 🤣
