Peyton!!!!!!! Teams wouldn't know what to expect out of our offense then

Just think about the hotshot QB's we would get then.

I'd say Rick Clausen will make a fine OC for years to come. As for head coaching, I'd say maybe pick a promising coach up. Dan Hawkins of Boise State or somebody like that.

you guys nailed it, Peyton is our guy. He could be the NEXT Spurrier. Offensive minded if you know what I mean.

LOL....I was going to say Don, I hope by saying the next Spurrier you meant offensive minded and not a whiny, visor wearing, my momma neglected me when I was a little tyke S.O.B. LOL....I agree though...He'd be a great OC and really offensive minded

I could see Peyton and Rick Clausen as a great duo to coach an awesome offense. We'd need a kickass defensive coordinator, though, or else we will have a lot of repeat 2004 performances, where our offense is ruling but our defense is sucking all over the place.

I like having alumni as coaches. Much less likely to leave...

Personally, I'm in NO hurry for Fulmer to leave. I still remember Majors.

I don't think he was saying that he was in a hurry for Phulmer to leave but I think he was talking about down the road when Phil decides its time to call it quits and retire

Can anybody ever remember a successful, highly paid NFL player that was insane enough to become a college football coach?

Good point. I don't really see Manning as a coach, when I think about it. RC, though... As soon as Sanders decides to bow out, Clausen is our boy for the OC.

Yeah but most players don't want to put in the work and Peyton is no typical nfl player.

I think Peyton will play long into his career... He basically is already a half-coach half-player, I would think he'd be burned out by the time he retires.

Forget burnout . . . why would anybody that already had more money than god want to work that hard and subject themselves to the anonymous scrutiny of num-nuts like us? :D

People like Peyton never get burned out. That man studies tapes on new years eve!

Yeah, but if he's going to be doing that for the next 10+ years to come, what makes you think he'd continue it? That's gotta be rough.
