Except you have to do it so that it's justified for PSU/Wisconsin to be in there, and not just a means of a sacrificed spot to in turn also allow a deserving Ohio State into another of the spots.

And that would also mean - if both win their conferences - that you're also telling a 12-1 Clemson or a 12-1 Washington that they don't deserve one of those playoff spots after winning their conference championships.

If PSU loses and Bucky wins out including over OSU in the Championship, how do you put in OSU over Wisc ?

That's a bit of a different story though. OSU would at least have gotten a second loss in a conference championship...so it'd be more understandable to leave them out over another 2-loss team.
