I think we've officially gone from SEC Champ favorite to NCAA Bubble team.

No way this team is SEC Champion material right now. Several SEC teams would beat UT right now.

Just waiting for Hopson to be amazing as hyped up to be, but teams are keying on Tyler Smith hard, kinda like Lofton last year. We need Chism, Hopson, and Tatum to step up and at times they seem to want others to do so and not take over for themselves. Once we get this thing rolling we could be a force, we have the coaching and the talent it just needs to work. Hopefully this year we can get hot before tourny time and have a run....instead of being hot in january and feb then falling flat on our faces.

Volsfan0415, I got lamblasted for saying Maze must produce more for us to win. I said he needs to get his 10 points a game in these type games and people said, that's not the PG's job. I know the PG isn't usually your leading scorer, but like you said, he must do better than 4 points and 0 assists.

We are worse than we were in Orlando. Think about it. Belmont almost beat us at home. We have gotten blasted at Temple; and at Kansas. Then a beaten down Zag team takes it to us on our own floor.

Are we getting better? No way. Not yet. Maybe we are expecting the freshmen to grow up too quick, but much of what bit us tonight was veterans making bonehead plays, mising chippies, and airballing open shots; and never ever playing the ball screen the correct way. Back to fundamentals Bruce.

I haven't lost faith in Pearl, but I expected so much more this season. It seems like everyone else that gets these 5 Star McDonald's All American players are always dominant. I thought Hopson would be a phenom this season as a freshman.

Hopson has the talent. He needs to use the mid range pull-up and be more aggessive driving. Maybe he is having trouble going to the hole because he is so weak. I think he has been gettin pushed around and isnt used to the banging.
