I lost value in my 401k and my small Roth in the 3rd quarter. This after losing about 28-30% in 2022. I had made up for some of that in 2023 before the 3rd quarter happened.

How many socialist are happy about it?

I experienced a 34% growth in revenue for my bar this year.

A different thread topic but many funds in 401k(s) are complete dogshit...

My Roth, where I pick my own funds, has outperformed my 401k 27 quarters in a row.....

My roth was just a 401k carryover early in my career that I had to dump there. I don't have much money in it. I always want to see how much it could grow but I have changed it in over 2 decades. Maybe it is time to take a look at it instead of ignoring it however it does show how crashes and a bad economy and inflation impacts the value. It's gone up over the years but the real value has decreased relative to the purchasing power.
