The great Halloween candy debate

Can’t say that I loved candy corn but a friends wife starting leaving a “platter” of candy corn mixed with unsalted peanuts on the table during the season and I fell I love with the combo. Kind of like a payday. Not a fan of the fruity stuff but enjoy the Hershey’s cookies and cream minis as well as a Mr Goodbar. Even liked the Smart Stop peanut butter bars.

I was just venting at something that drives my dog crazy. Relax. I didn't say it was a crisis .... just an annoying thing that kids like to do. Like punching an elevator button 20 times, as if that's going to accelerate it's arrival.

We had very little. Most people around here stuck to the town squares, wufe thinks it's just the crazy in the world now. People are just concerned, and we just had a rare murder literally 5 minutes away.

fyi depending on the elevator system, it may actually decrease wait times. but that is purely a programming thing that can be controlled.

We have some dorks on here, who have to chime in whenever they feel they can look intelligent by correcting someone .... even when it is not germane at all to the point being made.

The point was that kids have a tendency to be impatient and expend unnecessary energy, which is often to the aggravation of strangers. Having said that, my kids (now, both adults) were the same way.

Must every little benign, throw away comment be subject to analysis and scrutiny?

it was an FYI statement, and I said it COULD help. wasn't correcting, just adding some additional commentary of the "today I learned" variety. sorry that was too much of a derailment for you. if it really bothers you I can delete the post.
