He needs to sell those…and advertise!Got myself a little Christmas present. It is custom and handmade by a patient's brother in Florida who took up knife-forging as a COVID hobby. He makes incredible pieces.

I know he goes to shows, is in magazines, and wins some competitions. He has some really exotic ivories and Damascus. They can get pricy, though! He needs to sell those…and advertise!
I’m saving this!I know he goes to shows, is in magazines, and wins some competitions. He has some really exotic ivories and Damascus. They can get pricy, though!
I checked with him and he said he is working on a website, but here is his Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/corey_holley_knives/
He also said I can pass along a phone number and he will work up a knife the same way he did with me.

View attachment 714243I got my green egg from my last home owner because he didn’t feel like moving it. It took me a good year or so to learn how to dial the temp and hold it for long cooks. Steep learning curve but once you get it down these are solid.
Malcom Reed uses it all of the time. He has his own YouTube channel and does the bbq circuit. So I would say it’s worth if. But I would try some first before doing the whole stack. I can’t use pecan wood because my wife is allergic to tree nuts.Do y'all have favorite wood chips/chunks for smoking? I guess it might depend on which kind of meat though.
What I have here is quite a bit of pecan, that I could cut up into any size, and am just wondering whether it would be worth my time to fool with it.
Best smoking wood ever, according to the best smoker I know.Do y'all have favorite wood chips/chunks for smoking? I guess it might depend on which kind of meat though.

I looked pretty hard at those before I bought my Weber. Some folks absolutely swear by them. You'll have to let us know. The only thing I heard people say to get was a good bucket and shovel for clean out, since you have to scoop. I'd want a griddle for one though lol.got a good deal on a lightly used PK300 Original (needed another grill like another hole in my head but) - any must try items or useful accessories?
