City On a Hill is good, on Showtime. Kevin Bacon and some other good actors. It's about Charlestown bank robbers, cops, and prosecution set in the 80's.

Your Honor is new on Showtime, starring Bryan Cranston.

There are some awesome elements, but two episodes in, and there have already been some big coincidences in the story. Only the truth can include strange and improbable coincidences that tie the story together. Fiction has to be smarter than that. Hopefully, that's the last of that **** and the writing is tighter from here on out.
Did you finish watching this?

The Investigation on HBO is really interesting. I think it's from Denmark? But some of the characters are Swedish, so it's unclear to me. Anyways, it's funny to see how they do shows there. The pace is slow but mesmerizing. So much of the plot happens on the lead investigator's phone calls. I can't tell if the actors are good or bad because of the language barrier. I'm on episode 3 and they haven't even shown us the accused, and he was arrested early in episode 1. It all works for me so far.

Beartown is a cool HBO mini series. It's kinda like a Swedish hockey Friday Night Lights. The hockey scenes are legit.

Turns out this was based on a true story and the accused was denied whatever fame the mini series would have given by not even mentioning his name.

The burden of proof in Denmark must be really high. They might've had enough for a conviction here by episode 1 but the whole series was a push to ensure the evidence was fail proof. They had this really cool episode using dogs and science trying to find body parts in the sea.

For the posters who are late 20s/mid 30s like me and grew up on Nickelodeon, The Orange Years on Hulu is a great documentary about all the shows they made in those years.

I might be too old for that. I watched Nickelodeon when it was Today's Special, YCDTOTV, and then on the tail end Rugrats and Doug and Are You Afraid of the Dark. Does it hit those notes?

SIAP, but I just finished Calls on Apple TV+. It is not your typical show, but I really enjoyed the concept and storyline.
