I think you guys need to listen to this. This is my buddy, who's been using my computer at an almost incessant pace the last few weeks or so. It's terrible, but oh well. He wants it posted, so I obliged............

YouTube - JWizzy - Straight from dat 865

(Meant sincerely) Tell him if he's rapping and using lingo that was/has been used for the last 6 yrs, he's messing up. Naming songs "str8 from the _____" is a good indication of that. Originality is the single most important thing.

Good list, but I just wasn't feeling Aesop Rock.

Everything else on that list should be in the Hip Hop 101 starter kit.

I dunno man... Aes is definitely an acquired taste, but his vocabulary and use of metaphors absolutely kills. Also, Blockhead might be the best producer out there.

Can't link it, but my production company (Reel Muzik Productions) just produced the "All In One Swipe" record for Mack Maine of CMR, YM. The video is on Youtube titled (OFFICIAL VIDEO) and the name. Its Mack Maine's debut single and was featured on BET yesterday as the "Brand New Joint". Its also featured @ wolrdstarhiphop.com. JI is legit and will only rise in the ranks of top producers as the winter rolls and 2011 begins.

JI takes that title, hands down. Not as accomplished, "officially". But I'm here to tell you he was the originator of the sampled" "Postman" track. Wayne never paid, get this, his whopping $500 offer. Juelz gets the track from Wayne (the two were on tour @ the time), has a producer "flip" it as to bypass copyright laws, and they release it. Its a hit,and the rest is history.

Wait... say what? Back up, what are you talking about... in English this time.

What is this $500 and "Postman" stuff you're talking about?

There's a gif of him where he falls while trying to walk with a cane on Degrassi.

Anyways, I like Drake's music. It's pretty nice when you're in a somber mood.

Graham is a fan of the Kentucky Wildcats and a friend to head coach John Calipari. On October 16, 2009, Graham made an appearance at the University of Kentucky men's basketball event, "Big Blue Madness" at Rupp Arena. On January 2, 2009, Graham also attended Kentucky's game against the University of Louisville and accompanied Calipari to his post game radio show.[39] Graham returned to the University of Kentucky on April 27, 2010, to perform a concert.

LiL wayne originally recorded "Postman" ( a top20 hit record later released by Juelz Santana). Wayne got the track from JI (head of production for ReelMuzikProductions) He never paid for it, and only released his version on mixtapes. Juelz got the beat from Wayne, had a producer flip (change the sample up enough to avoid legal issues) and then released it. It was JI's beat.

JI's latest record is with MackMaine, Birdman, and Rick Ross, titled "All in one Swipe" and will be on radios very soon. Also, google David Miletelo. We begin production on his debut album next week. He is on Nickelodeon's "Victorious" as well as various Disney commercials. The kid is legit.
