The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

I am not nearly as optimistic as I was earlier today. I will just leave it at that and say it doesn't sound nearly as hopeful.

Just watched the segment about this case on Geraldo. Why do they still say they have no person of interest? Is the ex bf who she had the restraining order against accounted for? Is he from Parsons? I'm sure ppl know who he is and if he's been seen in the last few days or not.

Another question. If the brother didn't call 911 until he saw blood in the carport, then we're talking about a considerable amount of blood, right?

Yeah the ex boyfriend has been accounted for. My friend that works with him came over tonight and said that he was at work with him the whole time.

Has he been back since?

Nothing specific. Just rumblings of pessimism from other volunteers.

I hope I am wrong.

I imagine so...most of those volunteers wanted to be the one who found her im sure. With all those people and still no Holly im sure they are a little pessimistic

If she is suspected to be in a thickly wooded area, why don't they bring in a 'copter with thermal sensors?

Contrary to what the news says, thermal sensors don't always work in thick wooded areas

So now on Facebook they are saying they need as many people as possible tomorrow to help. They changed their minds from the previously posted recommendation of only 100 volunteers and 20 ATVs.

Saw that as well on Twitter. Sounds like something has changed their minds.

Sounds like too many cooks in the kitchen

So, no further mention of the blood in the carport or did I miss it somewhere? Also, still curious to me, is that the TBI seemed to emphasis that this is still a rescue effort.

I know, there's a lot of curious things hanging out there as I'm sure they are controlling their information to improve their chances of success.

And, if you have a kidnapper loose in the woods with their victim, wouldn't law enforcement work under the assumption that the kidnapper is armed and dangerous? And, if they hold that assumption, why would you turn over a 1000 volunteers loose in the area/vicinity of an armed and dangerous person?

What if the blood at the carport belonged to the "kidnapper". And, Holly is training to be a nurse.

Lots of ifs and buts.

I have driven Highway 412, Highway 13 and all parts in between for a while now. People that have not been in this area of the state have no idea how remote it is. Between Hohenwald, Parsons, Savannah/Waynesboro and Lawrenceburg, you have some of the most isolated stretches of real estate you can find in the Southeast. I can't think of any other place like it in this part of the country.

Officials aren't saying anything about this, even to the volunteers. They are just telling them where to go w not much more.

Keep praying folks. And add the folks searching. Many are starting to get discouraged at this point.

In an area like this I'd assume at times they could be extremely close to the suspect/victim and not be able to tell just because of the thick forest

So " we want to find Holly before dark" wonder if that's just to motivate volunteers or if they really believe they are close
